No More Mnemonics is a simplified Concept for teaching note reading on the Grand Staff. This book is for teachers of students of all ages! The Faces Concept, which is taught in No More Mnemonics, is a great tool to prepare students for elementary school, college, or attending a music conservatory.
While learning music, students will be taught their family genealogy, the ABCs (A-G), rhythm (how to count), chunking music notes (Chords), and colors, all simultaneously. Rather than starting on "Middle C," we start at the beginning of the piano with "A". Instead of teaching one note at a time, we teach the "family of faces" across the keyboard. Students immediately learn to read and write all notes across the 88-note keyboard.
